For over a decade, Mohsin Ali worked his way up through CPA firms across the United States, serving as both manager and partner during his 12-year career. He prepared and reviewed thousands of tax returns, gaining a deep understanding of how the system works and where it fails business owners. Mohsin also has an entrepreneurial streak. He once won an international entrepreneurship competition in the United Kingdom and was sponsored by the UK government for a full year of mentorship and training by some of the world's leading business minds.

At the same time, Shafen Khan was building and running his own businesses. As a hands-on entrepreneur and tech-focused problem solver, he cycled through several CPAs but never found one who could think beyond compliance. Year after year, the pattern was the same: numbers filed in April, little guidance in between, and missed opportunities to plan ahead.
